WORKSHOP of CATS

A special meeting dedicated to the modeling of cute terracotta cats.

A workshop suitable for all levels and which aims to bring participants closer to the creative potential of the clay slab technique.

- Maximum 8 students.

- A 2.5 hour lesson.

- Material contribution and 1 firing included: € 56.
*€ 52 for students and former students of the atelier.

PLAN

· introduction to the technique of slabs ;

· creation of a clay slab;

· modeling of a small animal in clay: cat

· finishing and preparation of the object for firing in the traditional method.

After this lesson, you can choose whether to decorate your cute pet with a cold technique (even at home) or in ceramic at 930°C with additional hours in the atelier by prior agreement with the teachers.

The first firing of the clay cat will be done at a later time and the finished work will be delivered later.

GOALS

Develop the creativity and design process and learn the fundamentals of ceramic modeling with particular attention to the slab technique. A funny clay cat will be made with the technique in question.
