REPETITIONS and PRIVATE LESSONS

For more 30 years, the Masters and Art Graduates of the Atelier Paese dei Balocchi have been offering private lessons in artistic and technical disciplines for support during the school year, for preparing for the eligibility exam for the Art High School, for the exams of the Academy of Fine Arts or for admission to Higher and University Technical or Art Schools of Bologna and the Province.

We are specialized in the recovery of GEOMETRIC DISCIPLINES, PAINTING DISCIPLINES, PLASTIC-SCULPTURAL DISCIPLINES essential to access the Higher or University Art School.

Thanks to our lessons, many students have already performed the exams with excellent results, recovered their debt, filled their learning gaps, and acquired great confidence in carrying out the drawing boards.

We carry out lessons of a minimum of 2 hours each.

The cost of the repetition hours package will be calculated in a personalized way based on the level of the student and the recovery program to be carried out.

Over the years we have prepared students for and in schools: Arcangeli Art School of Bologna - Technical Institute for Surveyors of Pacinotti Higher Education in Bologna - Academy of Fine Arts of Bologna - Faculty of Architecture of the University of Bologna and Ferrara - IIS A. Venturi of Modena.

Some topics that we develop during the private lessons of Geometric Design:

- Midpoint and axis of a segment, Thales theorem, bisector of an angle, trisections of the right and flat angles, operations on arcs.

- Construction of an equilateral, isosceles, scalene and curvilinear triangle

- Construction of a quadrilateral, a pentagon, regular polygons.

- Division of a circumference, Tangents and connections, Polycentric plane curves (oval, spirals).

- Orthogonal projections of a simple solid composition

- Orthogonal projections of a group of geometric solids with a
rotation with respect to one of the three projection planes.

- General projective concepts, conditions of parallelism and perpendicularity

- Orthogonal projections of solids inclined with respect to the reference frames

- In-depth study of orthogonal projections through the use of successive projections, of the auxiliary plane, of partial overturning.

- Section of solids, intersections, interpenetrations, axonometric projections of geometric solids.

- Representation of geometric solids, architectural volumes in isometric orthogonal axonometry, oblique cavaliera and oblique monometric axonometry

- Central and accidental perspective

Some topics that we develop during the Pictorial Discipline lessons:

- Chiaroscuro techniques: creation of graphic drawings with the use of pencils, charcoal, sanguine, markers, watercolor.

- Color technique: creation of graphic drawings with the use of colored pencils, watercolors, acrylics, oil colors.

- Drawing from life from plasters and composition of objects: proportions and intuitive perspective.

- Grid technique: reproduction, reduction, enlargement, deformation.

- Tonal stylization, chromatic scales.

- The human figure: proportions and artistic anatomy.

- Study and design of pictorial or graphic drawings on the assigned theme.

- Creation of graphic and pictorial works on the assigned theme with the use of the most appropriate techniques.

Some topics that we develop during the Plastic - Sculptural Arts lessons:

Graphic Works:

- Copy from life: plaster casts and anatomical details and drapery, various objects.

- Study of the volume with the use of Chiaroscuro Techniques.

- Study of the human figure in relation to anatomical proportions and space.

- Design of decorative elements, bas-reliefs and all-round on the assigned theme

Plastic Elaborations:

- Copy of anatomical details and decorative elements from plaster relief models in clay.

- Intuitive perspective - Reading and understanding of the perspective space: plastic-spatial restitution
through live copy of solids placed on the plane and in space.

- Copy from life of all-round plasters in clay.

- Processing of bas-relief, high-relief and in the round of the subject studied.

- Plastic development of design drawings on assigned themes through the use of different techniques and materials.
