CERAMIC COURSE

THE COURSE IS OPEN EVERY DAY BY RESERVATION, from Monday to Friday from 1:30pm to 8:00pm and on Wednesday evening until 9.30pm. For foreigners, the course is held in English.

The course can be started at any time of the year and is designed as a package of hours to climb. Everyone can choose the time and day of attendance by communicating it week by week.

ORGANIZATION AND COSTS

Period: All year round. Entries every week
Attendance: We recommend lessons of at least 2 hours each, one or more times a week.
Duration: admission package of 10 hours of lesson.
Cost of the course (firings and materials included in the basic course): € 188.00
One-off administrative costs: € 15.00

At the end of the admission package of 10 hours of lesson, students will be able to continue the ceramic course by purchasing from the single lesson to packages of hours to climb, of your choice with offers on quantity. In this way each student will be able to choose how long they want to make their learning path last.

OBJECTIVES

The course is aimed at learning the basic techniques for making artifacts, starting with the raw material, clay and their raw decoration.

The basic program includes the creation of a vase with the "colombino" technique and the decorative processing of the same, as well as the coloring. After the first firing to obtain the terracotta, the vase will be crystallized by the pupil and fired a second time to obtain the ceramic.

THEMES IN PROGRAM

The shaping techniques, covered by the course according to the level of the student are:
- colombino
- slab/clay sheet
- on molds
- mixed

The raw decorative processes covered by the course according to the level of the student are:

- carving
- bas-relief - high-relief
- engraved
- takeaway - excavated
- engobed coloring

The ceramic modeling course is aimed at everyone, from beginners to expert ceramists:

Those who have no experience in the subject will find a friendly environment and highly qualified teachers who will be able to introduce the subject from the basics.

Those who already have experience in the sector will study an ad hoc program before starting the course.

All programs will take place always keeping in mind the learning needs of the student.

The laboratory is structured with all the professional equipment in order to offer even the most experienced ceramist the opportunity to experiment with particular techniques.
