For the artists Simona Ragazzi and Roberta Angelini the search is aimed at overcoming the perceptive dimension and the habit of binding the fruit of the art in physically static places. Their communicative urgencies call them to create art that can also be worn: a daily message of "boundless" beauty.

That's how our jewels are born, not by whim but by need.

Simona's sculpture jewels are the essence extrapolated from the cycle of works called “Appunti” (trad. “Notes”). Always passionate about the human figure and scholar of physiognomy, Simona cleverly models faces, figures, expressions, emotions on sheets of clay.

These “life notes” tell and interact with the observer, revealing the inner and emotional part of human feelings. Where fear, serenity, anger, ecstasy are no longer private emotions of which we have modesty, but become the protagonists of an interior and exterior beauty such: a work of art. It is this communicative will that drives her to create these precious itinerant works, to be carried in the daily life so that the user himself becomes a messenger of a relational openness with others that is concrete and tangible.

In her “jewel eyes” there is enclosed the desire to know, to meet, to observe, to look far, to pay attention to people and the world.

Roberta's jewels overlap on the beauty of formal essentiality. They are characterized by rigorous geometric balances. Precious colored crystals and rough surfaces reveal technical workmanship.

Small creations that exceed the habit of relegating the fruit of art to a static place, born to convey an emotion by penetrating the soul of those who observe them and enhancing the beauty of who wears them.
